IMPORTANT NSF NEWS

Beginning on April 30, 2018, individuals submitting proposals to the National Science Foundation

will be able to prepare and submit full, research non-collaborative proposals in Research.gov. 
You can preview the new Research.gov proposal preparation functionality by selecting the “Prepare

& Submit Proposals” tab on the top navigation bar after signing in to Research.gov and then

choosing “Prepare Proposal.” This preview will continue until 8:00PM EDT on April 27, 2018, and

will allow any research community user with a FastLane or Research.gov account to sample

Junior Faculty Funding Opportunities

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center has a strong desire to support and develop

their junior faculty.   To accomplish this goal, a Committee has been formed to assist junior researchers

in identifying funding opportunities and is comprised of faculty from multiple colleges and chaired by

Dr. Jimmy Ballard.  The Committee has identified almost 300 funding opportunities with updates

occurring on a regular basis.  The data elements collected include the following: key words; name of

organization ;  name of award;  Internet link; description/purpose;  application deadline; award amount;

Online Partnership to Accelerate Research (OnPAR) - Leidos Health’s Life Sciences has

partnered with NIH to accelerate the biomedical research and development enterprise by matching

high-scoring (e.g., those within the 30th percentile), unfunded NIH applications with private biomedical

foundations and/or industries seeking to fund promising research via OnPAR. 

OnPAR member organizations are desperately seeking unfunded applications for:

  • Systemic lupus erythematosus

Pre-Proposal Application for New Phase 1 COBRE Application

OUHSC is eligible to submit one new Phase 1 COBRE application for the January 24, 2019 deadline.
