"Introduction to ASSIST"

As of December 31, 2017, the Legacy (downloadable PDF) grant application forms will no longer

be available. The Application Submission System & Interface for Submission Tracking (ASSIST)

system will now be used to prepare and submit grant applications electronically to NIH and other

Public Health Service agencies. ASSIST is very user-friendly and catches most errors before

submission. This talk will provide an introduction to ASSIST.



Oklahoma Tobacco Research Center
Graduate and Undergraduate Summer Scholars Program

Application Deadline: January 31, 2018

The Oklahoma Tobacco Research Center at the Stephenson Cancer Center will be offering

summer research training opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to attend a

12-week program (5/21/2018 to 8/10/2018). This program allows trainees to work under the

mentorship of tobacco investigators in a research setting at the University of Oklahoma Health

Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Trainees will complete a mentored research project which

they will present at the end of the term and will prepare an abstract for submission to a national

conference. Trainees will also participate in seminars and activities covering a diverse array of

Stephenson Cancer Center’s Annual Cancer Research Symposium
