Dr. Michelle R. Staudt is the Associate Vice President for Research & Research Integrity Officer. In this role, she oversees the Ethics in Research Policy and procedures in accordance with federal regulations related to allegations of possible scholarly or research misconduct for research carried out at OUHSC. Dr. Staudt also works to foster a climate of research integrity on campus and oversees Research Integrity training for OUHSC.

Previously, Dr. Staudt served as faculty and Assistant Dean for Graduate Education and Research at OUHSC from 2016-2020 and as part-time Research Integrity Officer from 2017-2020. Prior to joining OUHSC in 2016, Dr. Staudt served as faculty and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Genetic Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City where she co-managed investigator-initiated clinical and translational research for seven years. Before joining WCMC, Dr. Staudt worked as a life science consultant in New York City after completion of her post-doctoral training at Columbia University. Dr. Staudt obtained a B.S. with distinction in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma, a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional through the Society of Clinical Research Associates.
