The Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma enacted policy requiring that an Institutional Official sign off on all grants and contracts for sponsored research. The ORA requires these grants and contracts to be processed with SoonerTrack routing forms that are specific to the requested type of agreement. Often, prior to a sponsor selecting an OUHSC Investigator for a clinical trial, the sponsor will submit a Confidentiality Agreement to our Institution that will govern the exchange of clinical trial confidential information (such as a protocol). Even these non-income generating agreements must be routed through ORA and signed off by an Institutional Official.
