Core Laboratory Services

A state of the art facilities offering a variety of services in the areas of sequencing/genomics, mass spectrometry/ proteomics, flow cytometry and imaging, structural aspects of macromolecular targets. Also access to experimentation with high containment pathogens in a safe and compliant environment and access to Laser Microdissection (LMD) technology.

Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC)

Provides the highest level of fiduciary expertise for the perfection, conveyance and commercialization of OU intellectual property, and serve as a driving force for OU's economic impact through education, expertise, and efficiency.

Grants & Contract Accounting (GCA)

Provides post-award administration and financial support to Principle Investigators, Project Directors, and Sponsors.

Office of Compliance

The Compliance Program for the University of Oklahoma has a mission to enhance compliance consciousness for OU’s workforce by promoting the highest standards of ethics and integrity through awareness, training, education, monitoring, oversight, and appropriate responses to confirmed violations.

Compliance Offices

Animal Care & Use Program (ACUP)

Provides a solid and secure foundation for research, testing, or teaching based upon adherence to concepts of animal welfare as a necessary basis for ethical and reliable animal use outcomes.

Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC)

Providing a solid and secure foundation for biomedical research, testing, or teaching; which is based upon adherence to concepts of animal welfare as a necessary basis for ethical and reliable animal use outcomes.  

Office of Human Research Participant Protection (HRPP)

Responsible for reviewing research submissions that involve human subjects and assess that it adequately meets the criteria for approval set forth by the federal regulations, state law, and OU policies and procedures.

Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)

In charge of reviewing and approving the biological safety of all OUHSC and OU-Tulsa basic and clinical research activities involving recombinant and synthetic nucleic acid molecule,* gene transfer including transfer to humans, microorganisms, viruses, and biological toxins.
