HRPP/IRB Office is Moving! Office Closure Dates Announced:

The HRPP is moving to Research Park the week of October 28.

The HRPP/IRB Office will be CLOSED from October 29-31.

We will reopen in our new location at Building 865, Suite 400 on Friday, November 1st.

The primary objective of the PHF Bridge Grant program is to provide funding to enhance OUHSC faculty competitiveness

for extramural funding. OUHSC Principal Investigators who have submitted an extramural application that was scored but

not funded within the past 18 months and is requesting over $750,000 in total direct costs and over $200,000 in total

facilities and administration (F&A) costs and received a review that ranks applications and provides critiques are eligible. 

This program can provide funding for up to $75,000 for one year. Guidelines and Application Form is attached or can be

  1. UCB is looking to engage with academia in the gene therapy space for developing new treatments

for neurological disorders.  Focus areas* include:

  1. Viral delivery approaches using AAV or non-viral approaches (e.g., LNPs or EVs)
  2. Accessory approaches facilitating better delivery/enhanced expression of genes
  3. Approaches targeting gene therapy candidates and their allied pathways
  4. Out of scope: lentiviral or antisense oligonucleotide delivery approaches (unless transformed for use

in AAV)

*Basic/pre-clinical research stages are within scope; however, highest priority is research with existing in vivo validation.
