Office of Technology Commercialization presents the following opportunity for researchers to engage with industry (click here for more information, or email otc@ou.edu or gina-mcmillen@ouhsc.edu).
  • A global chemical and materials company is seeking improved or novel inorganic fillers for semiconductor packaging.  Ceramic-based materials are of particular interest or materials with low dielectric constant and low or negative coefficient of thermal expansion and capable of high thermal conductivity.  Other preferences include a filler size range of tens of nanometers to tens of micrometers and spherical, rod, plate or needle shape.  Out of scope: Conductive metals and carbon fillers.  Submission entails a one-page 200-300 word non-confidential brief.  Deadline January 20th.
  • A global chemical and materials company is seeking novel research and expertise in short wave infrared (SWIR) thin film photodetector materials and devices that can convert SWIR light into electric current for applications such as surveillance and medical imaging.  Organic polymer and monomer, quantum dot and perovskite photodetector materials and devices that operate with a wavelength in the 1000-1500 nm range are of high interest; priority given to materials and devices with high external quantum efficiency (EQE) and low dark current and that are easily coatable.  Submission entails a one-page 200-300 word non-confidential brief.  Deadline January 20th.

NIH Notices

NOTE: When only one application is allowed per Institution according to the sponsor instructions, a one-page letter of intent summarizing the proposed project should be submitted to the Vice President for Research at least two months prior to the application deadline (unless otherwise noted).  The letters of intent will be reviewed and a single application will be chosen for submission from the University.
