Although ORA is responsible for the negotiation and sign-off of industry-sponsored research agreements and contracts, the content for those agreements and contracts are affected by the policies of many different entities. Institutional policy and state law requirements govern the majority of the content, while the policies of other central offices govern much of the remaining content. These central offices may include the Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Accounting, Billing Compliance, Export Controls, and others.
